## 2017 Teaching and Fee policies

*Fee Schedule:*

Below times and fees all calculated on a per student basis:

15 minutes= $20 per student

30 minutes = $35 per student

45 minutes = $50 per student

1 hour = $65 per student

**Lesson Terms and Conditions:**

*Lessons missed by teacher:*- Parents, guardians and students must stay updated with the 'important dates' in the current student section of this website.
- The teacher must give at least 24 hours notice, if they need to miss a lesson.
- Lessons missed by teacher, will be re-scheduled to a mutually convenient time, if possible.
- Where rescheduling of a lesson missed by the teacher is not possible, or where the teacher has given less than 24 hours notice for a missed lesson, the full lesson will be credited over to the next term.
- If a lesson has been successfully rescheduled, and the student subsequently needs to miss the rescheduled lesson - the ‘lessons missed by student’ terms apply to the rescheduled lesson.

*Lessons missed by student:*__Missing a lesson for any reason other than illness:__

- Parents, guardians or the student must provide
**at least****24 hours notice****by text or email**of any lessons that will be missed for any reason other than illness. - Where at least 24 hours notice is given by parents, guardians or students – that lesson can be rescheduled.
- If no notice is given in relation to missed lesson by the student or their parent, or if notice is only given the same day of the lesson (for any reason other than illness), 100% of the lesson fee will be charged.
- If less than 24 hours notice is given, 100% of the lesson fee will be charged and the lesson cannot be rescheduled.
- If the parent or guardian has given the appropriate notice (minimum 24 hours when due to a reason other than illness), and
__the teacher__is unable to reschedule that lesson to a mutually convenient time that same week - then the lesson will be credited to the following term. - If the parent or guardian has given the appropriate notice (minimum 24 hours when due to a reason other than illness), and the
__parent/guardian__is unable to reschedule that lesson to a mutually convenient time that week, the teacher will ask whether the parent would prefer to reschedule to a later date, or forfeit the lesson fee.

__Missing a lesson due to illness:__

- On occasion, a parent, guardian or student may need to gave same day notice (due to illness). In these instances, parents, guardians or students must give
**at least two hours notice by text**. - Where at least 2 hours notice is given in cases of illness, these lessons can be rescheduled.
- If no notice is given in relation to missed lesson by the student or their parent, or if notice is given less than 2 hours prior to the lesson time due to illness, 100% of the lesson fee will be charged.
- If less than 2 hours notice is given in cases of illness, 100% of the lesson fee will be charged and the lesson cannot be rescheduled.
- If the parent or guardian has given the appropriate notice (minimum 2 hours when due to illness), and
__the teacher__is unable to reschedule that lesson to a mutually convenient time that same week - then the lesson will be credited to the following term. - If the parent or guardian has given the appropriate notice (minimum 2 hours when due to illness), and the
__parent/guardian__is unable to reschedule that lesson to a mutually convenient time that week, the teacher will ask whether the parent would prefer to reschedule to a later date, or forfeit the lesson fee.

*Payments*- Fees must be made by way of electronic transfer, within seven days following a prepaid invoice for the school term.
- Attendance will be taken as lessons are completed, with the above policies in place.

*Additional issues:*- If parents, guardians or students have any questions about the above policies or lesson arrangements, they may contact the teacher by email to clarify or discuss arrangements.
- These Terms and Conditions may be updated on this website before the start of a new term. Parents, guardians and students are advised to check these Terms and Conditions prior to the beginning of each new term for any changes.
